CATS HOPE TO HAVE OTHER ADDITIONAL PLAYERS JOIN STEVE YETMAN FOR SECOND HALF
With the addition of Steve Yetman to the Cataracts line-up following the CWSHL Final Draft at mid-season,the team is reunited with one of its former top scorers.
The team is also 'working on' having a few other protected players come back in the New Year along with some surprise territorial picks...
During his two year tenure with the Cats between 2014-2016 Steve Yetman had a +1.50 points per game average. Only fellow-All Star Import Cam Fergus had a better points per game average during that period.
In the 2016 Season Steve averaged +1.64 points per game and finished second in the League to Cam Fergus for the scoring championship.
MORE PLAYERS NEEDED ON ROSTER
With "short benches" being a problem frequently for the Cats during the first half, adding players for the finish of the season has been a big priority for Cats management... The organization had in fact hoped that "an arrangement" could have been made during the recent final Draft to have had coach Patty Yetman,(brother of Steve), also play as 'player-coach' in the second half , but a 'deal' just could not be worked out with either of the other two League teams to secure him for the Cats in the Draft process.
